while browsing the net & thought they deserved to be placed somewhere that a
Scottish audience could see them,

is a native of the Faroes & he took these photo's, I recognise one or two of
the faces & that's why I thought I'd put them up here, so in Torarinn's own
words" The Scottish National team came to the Faroe Islands to play a match
for the European Cup finals. They did just invade the Faroeses to have fun
and did not make any problem here at all. Great visitors and they showed
some other nations how to behave. Both the Scottish and the Faeroese's went
on a Ferry to the soccer field in Svangaskarð and it was just fun being
together. The Scotsmen were lucky to get a draw but the fans were still
happy on the way back to Torshavn"....Alba Gu Brath
