Wallace Day @ Elderslie With Albannach 26/8/06

The Paisley Tartan Army took part in it's first Wallace Day March recently but it wont be our last. Our wee gang set off from Johnstone to walk a couple of miles in honour of our national hero William Wallace. After some great speeches by David R Ross & Ted Christopher we had some lunatic, who's name escapes me at the moment ( that's how much of an impression he made on me) who tried to turn the occasion into a party political broadcast, this was the only negative part of the day however as it was onto the Village Hall in Elderslie to honour the great man. Albannach, Ted Christopher & Davie Ross once again laid on a great night of entertainment, you just never want the night to end with these guys!!! Met some wonderful people & it was nice to finally meet & have a blether with Brendan from Cran Tarra. Special Thanks to the Wallace Society...Alba Gu Brath
